Seeking Campaign Manager for Don't Stop The Music

Don't Stop the Music (DSTM) is a  prime time 3 x 1 hours documentary series for ABC TV to be broadcast in November 2018 . The DTSM campaign will be launched as the series goes to air. It includes a nation-wide musical instrument donation campaign whereby we call on the public to donate instruments to Salvos Stores and we re-distribute them to primary school kids that need them.  Salvos Stores is a key partner and is providing much in-kind logistical and project management support.  

Music star Guy Sebastian and music educator Anita Collins will front the campaign. Partners include Salvation Army / Salvos Stores,   Musica Viva  - and ASME  (Australian Society of Music Education) , along with ABC TV.  

We are looking for a Campaign Manager.  Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Help develop and then own the Impact Campaign plan including updating logistics, CTA considerations, tracking, roles and responsibilities, costings and budget management
  • Team development workshops - write-up notes and traffick tasks. These workshops will mostly take place in Sydney. 
  • Ongoing coordination of all stakeholders and partners
  • Further research to help develop the plan 
  • Project management software for all stakeholders to access - research / recommend / set-up
  • Setting up and running ongoing project reporting processes 
  • Planning and setting up agreed KPI tracking and reporting
  • Logistics planning and implementation / co-ordination set-up (with Salvos project coordinator) - instrument donation / assessment / repair / storage / transportation / schools management and reporting.  Much of this process has been identified and next stage is fine tooth comb to check process. 
  • Website content liaison and trafficking inc. liaising with the web developer to ensure back-end requirements are met. 
  • Marketing materials liaison, trafficking, distribution.  ABC TV will provide most of the marketing/communications strategy and advice- and our team will respond to that plan. 
  • Ensuring T&Cs and contracts are planned (and in place when appropriate) eg. on the website and for third parties inc. repairers, logistics suppliers, printing etc
  • Work through the practicalities of legacy of the DSTM website 

This person will work to an Impact Producer based in Sydney, and to the Executive Producer at Artemis Media Pty Ltd.  The DSTM production team is based in Fremantle, WA and strong preference for the successful candidate to be based in Western Australia. 

The role is part time from 'now' (3 days a week) until end March 2018.  From end  March - end July we envisage a continuation of part time - 3 days a week - and then full time from August 2018 - end February 2019. Funding is confirmed until end March with the intention for the position to continue as described.
